Fifteen EdUHK scholars were named on Stanford University’s list of the top two per cent most-cited scientists in various disciplines based on their career-long citation impact (until the end of 2019), including President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, Chair Professor of Public Policy; Ming Ming Chiu, Chair Professor of Analytics and Diversity; Professor Jim Chi-yung, Research Chair Professor of Geography & Environmental Science; and Professor Wong Ming-hung, Advisor (Environmental Science). The list was released in October 2020, which covered the fields of biotechnology, building and construction, education, energy, environmental sciences, finance, general mathematics, geriatrics, marine biology and hydrobiology, physical chemistry, social psychology, urban and regional planning. Please visit the full list here.

In the single year citation category (2019), 18 EdUHK scholars were on the list. This publicly available database of 100,000 top-scientists provides standardised information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields.

Congratulations to these scholars from different departments.
